Fans of HIMYM, Modern Family, GLEE, Lost, Dexter, and TV in General So basically the Paley Center for Media is like a museum for TV shows. They have panels like Comic-Con and people get to ask questions after a moderator asks questions about the shows, their developments, the cast, etc etc. Today, they had a panel that featured the cast of the TV show How I Met Your Mother. People who had tickets got to watch a screening of the 100th episode and ask questions, etc. If you want to read about the highlights of the panel, click here (it's their twitter - they had live updates as the panel was going on). Every year Paley has a thing called PaleyFest, which features a bunch of panels for hit TV shows. So far, the Paley Center has added these shows to the PaleyFest 2010 line-up: Modern Family, LOST, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Glee, The Vampire Diaries and Dexter. The full line-up will be announced on their website at 01/20/10, so remember to check for that. Member tickets go on sale 01/22/10, and general public tickets go on sale 01/24/10. In the past, the Paley Center has featured TV shows like House, True Blood, Parks & Recreation, Community, Pushing Daisies, Gossip Girl, Mad Men, Fringe, Big Love, The Hills, 90210, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Ugly Betty, Monk, and more. To see past videos of these panels, visit their website or their YouTube channel! Also, Paley Center actually has a location in NY, too, but idk what is happening there. Source aka TwitterI went to one of these things for Parks & Recreation and I actually got tickets really late and they ended up being closed-circuit, meaning I had to watch the whole thing in a room. But after it was over they all came out and took pictures and stuff. Aziz was hilarious. I wanted to meet Amy of course but she dodged out of there from the back door I think. Met Paul Schneider, the guy who plays Mark (Ann's boyfriend). He insisted on taking a picture with me and my friend lol. "Cool! I got both of my chins in the picture!" |

'Bachelor' Contestant Did Not Have Sexual Relations With That Producer The 'Bachelor' contestant dismissed from the reality show for an alleged affair with a producer insists, "I did not have a sexual relationship with a producer on the show." In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Rozlyn Papa says that 'The Bachelor' execs fired her for an "inappropriate relationship" with a producer, but "what they mean by inappropriate relationship is not what inappropriate relationship means in the real world." The episode depicting Papa's termination from 'The Bachelor' will air January 11, during the season's second episode, but the 28-year-old model insists that her actions have been exaggerated by the show. "I had a relationship with someone on the show that didn't benefit them," she says of the producers. "This is a TV show and it's made for entertainment, but it is a far cry from reality," Papa explains. "I know that things on television weren't always as they seemed, but I had no idea the extent of the show manipulation." Papa is no longer dating the producer, who was also fired, but she claims they have remained close. 'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison said after the two were fired, "It was an incident that we've never had to deal with before. It was tough for everyone, the crew, the women and Jake. Hopefully we can quickly move past this and it won't dominate the season. But definitely everyone will see what happens." Harrison continued, "An unfortunate decision was made by one of the girls and one of the crew members and the rest you'll have to watch and see."Papa disagrees. "I am going to hold my head high, I do not regret anything that happened," she says. source |

Drew B. & Justin Long Still Together Always keeping the world guessing about their relationship status, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted shopping together at a Whole Foods on Wednesday (January 6). The on-and-off again couple looked to be having a nice time as they were seen holding hands and loading up on groceries. Michael Jackson Death Investigation Complete The LAPD investigation into Michael Jackson's death has been completed and the case will go the D.A. within weeks, law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... and, we're told, it's all but certain Dr. Conrad Murray will be criminally charged in MJ's death. Our sources say detectives completed their investigation late last month and the case will be formally presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney as soon as scheduling allows. Turns out ... the presentation will draw quite the crowd. A number of members of the LAPD and the D.A.'s office will be present, and finding a date when everyone can show is a little tricky ... but we're told it will happen in a matter of weeks. One very informed source says the LAPD investigation was "exhaustive" and "extremely thorough" and the D.A. has enough evidence to pull the trigger on a criminal case against Dr. Murray. That said, we're told the case is complicated, in part because Dr. Murray did not break any laws in administering Propofol to Jackson. One law enforcement source connected with the case notes the D.A. has been actively working with the LAPD and it's all but certain the case will be filed. As for the charge -- a decision has not been made, but our sources say the likelihood is involuntary manslaughter, which requires a showing of gross negligence. NBC to Conan O'Brien -- The Choice Is Yours NBC has given Conan O'Brien the option to either do his show from midnight to 1 or leave the network, sources tell TMZ. As TMZ first reported, after the Olympics, Jay Leno will get his 11:30 PM time period back. We're told network execs have told Conan they will let him decide if he wants the midnight to 1:00 AM time slot. If he does, Leno's show will only be a half hour. If Conan walks, Leno will get a full hour, informed sources tell TMZ. Our sources say Conan has not decided what he wants. We do know he's pissed, because he was given no advanced warning this was coming. Conan's people told NBC they are considering the offer. Translation: Mr. O'Brien -- I have Rupert Murdoch on line one, Stephen McPherson on line two, John Landgraf on line three, Jeff Wachtel on line four ...We're told if Conan gets another offer, even though NBC could block the move, they will let him go and give Leno the full hour. Stay tuned ... SOURCE |

Deadpool Movie Gets The Dark Comedy Writers That Wade Deserves Fans of loopy banter and insane violence rejoice — Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, of Zombieland fame, are writing the Deadpool movie. This means the "Merc with a Mouth" film could actually be clever. Variety announced that Fox has selected Zombieland writers Reese and Wernick to bring Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool film to life. While there's "no timetable" set the trade speculates that if the script is done by the summer, Reynolds will already be in superhero shape from filming Green Lantern and has a window of opportunity, so what's to stop a quick turnover? Well besides piling two Ryan Reynolds comic book movie releases on top of each other that is. The writers stated that they wanted to stay true to the mythology of Deadpool, and if their previous Zombieland work is any indication of their wit, then they are a perfect fit for the fourth-wall-breaking, Bea Arthur-loving character. Simon Cowell Signs Paula Abdul To $4.5 Million-A-Year Contract With “The X Factor?” Get ready for another season of Simon and Paula’s signature bickering — on the US adaptation of The X Factor. Paula Abdul has allegedly inked a $4.5 million contract to bring her loopy commentary to the judges panel on an American version of Simon’s hit UK talent show, The X Factor. That’s interesting, considering the star walked away from her post at American Idol because she failed to secure the $10 million-a-year payday she was vying for. Apparently, Paula isn’t very good at gambling, is she? A FOX tipster revealed to The National Enquirer’s Mike Walker: “Simon flew Paula to London and wined and dined her relentlessly over the course of several days, even introducing her to everyone who works on X Factor. But what really clinched the deal was Simon’s pledge that she wouldn’t have to deal with all the nonsense and infighting that she hated on Idol.” The X Factor America will premiere in 2011. Source |
